Welcome to our Nursery Class

Formerly Little Overton’s Pre School, Frodsham CE Nursery provides Early Years education for children aged 2 to 4 years. The Early Years is an exciting and incredibly important stage in your child’s development. We strive to give every child the best possible start in life here in our nursery class, laying the foundations and building blocks for a happy and successful education as they grow up.  Our experienced team of caring, enthusiastic and well qualified staff promote a love of learning in each child, supporting their early development and increasing their independence and confidence while making new friends.

Our indoor and outdoor environment encourages curiosity and play as the children explore the world around them. They also have opportunity to enjoy our extensive grounds, visit our pond, woodland and adventure playground.  A priority is keeping children safe and healthy and promoting a positive wellbeing. We recognise every child as an individual and nurture and care for them within the schools’ Christian ethos. We foster a strong partnership with parents to best support each child during their time here, making sure they are fully prepared for transition into reception and ready to continue their school journey.

Fees are charged at the hourly rate of £5.00 and payment is made on a termly basis.

Early Years Entitlement Funding can be used for up to a maximum of 15 hours per week for children aged 3 and over, commencing on the term after their 3rd birthday. We do also offer 30 hours of free childcare to eligible parents. We provide the 2 year old funding meaning that any eligible 2 year olds can claim up to 15 hours of free child care.

Sessions

Monday- Friday
Morning  9.00- 11.30am
Lunchtime  11.30-12.45pm
Afternoon  12.45- 3.15pm

Children who attend lunch club may order a hot lunch at a cost of £2.45 a day or are welcome to bring their own packed lunch.

A snack of fruit and milk is available in the morning session.
